THE ART BOOK
Each page of the play has been crafted as a singular work of art through composition and typography.
"The book is entirely and intentionally composed of a mixture of real and imaginary words”, twisted, invented, pun intended. COLOURS bridges philosophy, absurdity and design in a judiciously dynamic way.

WHAT THE JUDGES HAD TO SAY
"There was an almost Shakespearean aspect of play to this work, like a children's book for adults as experienced through a haze of confusion. I think I really liked it, but I have no idea at all how it could be marketed. "
"Purely amazing."
"The ebook seems intended to break all conventions (of language and genre), which it does – thoroughly shatters them, in fact. I can't rate it highly for conventionally good use of grammar or spelling because it was intentionally awful. Even colloquial spelling for internal monolog doesn’t cover anything like Colours. The scores for creativity and design should get all the weight, because that’s where it aims, and where it succeeds wildly (very wildly)."
"On first experience, I hated the ebook. It seemed like harsh, shrill, nonsensical gibberish. By the eighth time I went through it, I actually liked it quite a bit. It still felt surreal, but the harshness was mitigated by the desire to find a story in the chaos. I still had a very hard time with the misused/malformed language, but I understood, to some extent, where the author was trying to go with it. Colours is certainly creative, colorful, and inventive. It made me think from the fool's perspective, which opened up all sorts of ideas. The philosophy I drew from it was unexpectedly deep. This book is literally a partnership between the creator and the reader, as the meaning came as much from my work reading it as it did from the author's work creating it."
